COVID-19 VIRUS UPDATES

1 John 4:18 - There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.

March 26, 2020

Once again, our Sunday message will be posted on Saturday evening. You can see last week's message here or on Youtube.

Our Kids Ministry has been posting videos once a week! Miss Lyndsay teaches a lesson aimed at K-4th graders, Miss Sally reads from the Jesus Story Book Bible for the preschoolers and Miss Kimmy does a craft for all ages! You can find it here.

We are posting daily encouragement from our staff and elders. If you want to catch them all, or see if you missed one...visit: 21 Days of Encouragement

At the bottom of this page are links to our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. This is a great way to stay in touch with us!

As always, If you or someone you know is in need of help, please reach out to us! The church phone is being monitored 9am-4pm every day.

We will be uploading our Sunday message online again, you can see last week's message here or on Youtube. Our building is closed and all activities, that normally take place here, are cancelled until further notice.

Did you know we have a prayer request page? This is a neat way for you to stay up to date on needs of our church family. We'd love for you to add to our list!

If you are in need of help, please reach out to us! The church phone is being monitored 9am-4pm every day.

March 13, 2020

In the interest of preventing the continued spread of COVID-19 and honoring the government's directives, we plan to cancel services here at church on Sunday, March 15th. While we regret not being able to meet together in person, we are grateful technology allows us to continue to hold "church".

We've planned ahead for this and will provide a link to watch a pre-recorded service and discussion questions for your family/friends. We're excited to see how God will work in your family/friends' lives and the possibility of holding a worship service in your home!

As of this time, we're cancelling all gatherings/events/activities at the church until further notice. We'd encourage you to continue to reach out to one another and consider how we may "spur one another on towards love and good deeds" with the people you interact with in your community.

We'll continue to be in contact with you. Please pay attention to your email and the church's website and social media channels for more info. We plan to send out "21 Days of Encouragement" from our Elders and staff starting next week, as well as helpful resources for families to help maximize the time at home with your kids!

If we can help in any way, don't hesitate to reach out to us!

We love you!

Fear causes us to respond reactively or behave in ways that contradict God’s sovereignty. Love, however, is the way of Jesus as he loved at the cost of his life. Instead of responding with panic, we are freed to live as people who have the love of God and love others.

Let us continue to pray for people and areas affected by the virus. Let us pray God would prevent it from spreading and ask instead for the gospel to spread in its place.

We believe the Word is powerful, the Spirit is at work, and God’s people are called by God on mission in this world. Due to the rapidly evolving situation, we will be communicating as things change, so please stay connected to our communication channels, so that you are well informed.

We are planning on continuing with Sunday worship services, however, the information from the State Health Dept/CDC has recommended more vulnerable groups should stay home from worship services.

We also recognize that there may be some who feel uncomfortable attending church for other reasons and want to honor any decision you make.

However, we place a high value on the church gathering as an essential part of the body of Christ and encourage those who are not attending in person to participate in worship with their families. If necessary, we plan to send out a Facebook link to view our services and a discussion guide to discuss as a family.
