Faith like Noah

When the world pushed against him, Noah stood firm. His story shows us what it looks like to have faith that endures—even under social pressure.

Discussion Questions:

  1. Noah built the ark “in holy fear” when warned about coming judgment. What does that reveal about the kind of faith he had?
  2. Noah’s obedience stood out in a world where no one else was listening to God. What do we learn from his example about trusting God even when it sets us apart?
  3. Noah’s story doesn’t just show courage — it also points forward to Jesus as the true and better ark (1 Peter 3:18-22), the place where we find shelter and safety from God's judgment. How does seeing Noah in light of Jesus grow our affection for God?
  4. Will your faith hold up under social pressure? Where do you feel that tension most in your life right now?
  5. From Noah’s example, what marks a faith that is strong? (He heard God’s warning, trusted God’s word, and followed God's calling even when it didn’t make sense.) Which of those do you need God’s help with most right now?
